Robert F Kennedy, Jr, has said that Sirhan Sirhan "could not have shot my father," Robert F Kennedy, Sr.

In the video linked above, Kennedy states that there were 12 bullets fired at the time of the assassination. Kennedy asserts that two of them were fired at his father from a distance of 5-8 feet in front of him. He asserts that the other six bullets from Sirhan Sirhan's eight-bullet revolver were fired elsewhere after people worked to sudue Sirhan Sirhan. And, Robert F Kennedy, Jr, asserts that the other four bullets which were fired - the bullets which killed his father - were fired from behind his father, at point blank range.

Are these statements supported by the facts? Is this version of history more reasonable - that is, does it match all of the available evidence - better than the official historical  narrative?
