True or False: "Illuminati" in Latin means "bad lighting"

In the description of the book Forbidden Knowledge, the word Illuminati is defined:

"In Latin the prefix “il” means “bad” and “lumen” is the root for “light”. Combined into Illuminati it means quite literally “bad lighting”, as in darkness and shadows. An assortment of some of their secreted works regarding our weights, measures, money, and language have been brought into the light within the pages of this little book. What you are about to read is “knowledge” long ago forbidden."
