If Trump felt strongly that Joe and Hunter Biden did something wrong, were corrupt, should he not have been able to mention this to the Ukrainian President and ask for help - since the alleged corruption occured in Ukraine? Same with the other investigation, what is wrong with Trump asking for help on this?

Republicans have made the argument that Trump could not have engaged in a "quid pro quo", or Constitutional bribery, since the money was released to Ukraine and the Ukrainian President never announced or began the investigation into Joe and Hunter Biden or the "Crowdstrike theory" about the 2016 elections.
